It is agreed between - (The Member) and myBoatshare.com that in return for the member paying the annual membership fee and monthly subscription; and complying with the current Rules and Conditions of Membership – myboatshare.com will provide the use of “boat share” time and services as detailed.

The current Rules and Conditions of Membership – myBoatshare.com form part of this Agreement.

Unless otherwise agreed the minimum term of membership is nine months, after which a member may terminate this agreement by giving 3 months notice in writing.

The “Craft” referred to is a Your membership catagory yacht or powerboat

The annual membership fee is £199 (inclusive of VAT). Any change to this will be advised by myBoatshare.com to the member not less than 3 months in advance. Any change will apply from the next anniversary date of the agreement.

The monthly subscription of £ Your membership catagory price (inclusive of VAT) is due on the 1st day of each month.

The monthly subscription rate is fixed until the first anniversary of the agreement, after which date myBoatshare.com may change the monthly subscription by giving the member not less that 3 months notice in writing of the new subscription rate, and stating a minimum time the new rate will apply for.

The member is entitled to usage of a myBoatshare craft for a total time each year equivalent to 1/7th of the usable time of the craft. This approximates to 49 sailing days in a calendar year, the boat share time is spread equally across the months (average 4.1 days per month) to be booked in line with myBoatshare.com booking time policy and can be booked in accordance with the myBoatshare.com “booking time on the water” guidelines; myBoatshare.com will manage the allocation of time in a spirit of co-operation so as to give as far as practical all members equal preference on boating time and peak season booking slots.


Deposit – myBoatshare.com will hold a security deposit of £1,800, this is returnable in full at the termination of this agreement after 18 months membership, or less a fifty percent deduction if the member chooses to leave sooner as provide for by the minimum term. myBoatshare.com may make deductions for, un-paid membership or subscription or for charges otherwise provided for in this agreement and the Rules and Conditions of Membership that have not been paid when due by the member.

myBoatshare.com may terminate this agreement at any time by giving the member three months notice in writing and returning any un-used proportion of annual membership, monthly subscription, and deposit balance. In the event of a change in the rate of VAT this will be reflected in the payments due under this agreement.
