As myBoatshare.com expands we are looking for partners to open and operate new base locations around the country.

Running a myBoatshare.com base will enable you to enjoy your sailing passion whilst earning a regular income from your boat.

How does being a myBoatshare.com Base Operator owner member work.

Firstly you will need to be an Owner member and bring a suitable yacht into the myBoatshare.com fleet, at your new Base Location.

You will then take on the practical responsibilities of looking after your own yacht based in a quality marina close to your home.
In addition to managing your own yacht; as your base grows we may ask you to manage additional boats at the base. You will then earn extra income for every additional boat you look after.

There is no franchise fee or up-front payment – However as part of myBoatshare.com team we will look for you to help us grow. This will include a commitment to time as part of the myBoatshare.com team manning stands at the likes of the Southampton and London Boat Shows; and also, at local events such as regional boat shows, “Festival of the Sea” and other marketing opportunities.

You will receive commission for every new member who you sign up to join and as myBoatshare.com, members can sail any boat in their class out of any base, your sales opportunities are not restricted to just your own base and boat.

What is my commitment?

• Owner Membership of the first boat at your base
• On average about 2/3 hours weekly looking after each yacht
• 6 - 8 centrally planned marketing days each year, at boat shows etc.
• 8 -10 local event and PR days
• Base Open Days
• Sales of new memberships
• Demo and induction sailing for new members

How do I secure my chosen base location?

Talk to us and register your interest, we will then meet with you and discuss the detail of your commitment, and the income you can expect to receive. Please remember we are actively promoting our Base Operator Owner Member Programme, and cannot commit to holding a location unless you are also committed to us.
