Dinghies and Outboards

 

 

If booked 15 or more days in advance - No charge.

If booked less than 15 (but more than 2) days in advance - a £15 charge applies.

If booked 2* or less days in advance - a £30 charge will be made.

If there happens to be a dinghy on the boat for your booking there will be no charge.

Failure to neatly fold and re-stow a dinghy may result in a £15.00 charge being made.

Please note: lost oars, rowlocks, or pump will be charged.

Outboards & Petrol (Subject to availability)

 

 

If booked 8 or more days in advance £15 for 3 days - £20 for up to 7 days.

If booked seven days or less* in advance £30 for 3 days - £40 for up to 7 days.

If an outboard happens to be on the boat and is used by the member, the lower charge will be payable.

Crusing Chute

 

 

If booked 15 or more days in advance - No charge

If booked less than 15 (but more than 2) days in advance - a £15 charge applies

If booked 2* or less days in advance - a £30 charge applies

Ships Papers

 

 

Boats venturing (by agreement) cross channel, or the Channel Islands, must have the ships papers on board.

If requested 15 days or more before departure - £10

If requested more than 2 (but less than 15) days before departure - £15*

If requested less than 48 hours before departure - £30*

1. Not all boats may be appropriate for extended passages, we also limit the number of boats on such trips at any one time.

2. Members may wish to purchase additional large scale charts for pre-passage planning and port approach.

3. The ships papers charge is payable once requested, irrespective of whether the intended passage in made or not.

4. Lost or damaged ships papers are subject to a replacement charge.

Third Party on Boat Tuition.

 

myBoatshare.com offers a range of training packages for our members with our selected training school partners.

However we do allow other training skippers on board. If you wish to use your own Skipper, we must see the following information for the particular trainer or examiner; copy of certification, proof of identity and details of the RYA school that will be issuing any qualifications.

We must see these details regardless of whether the tuition is formal, informal or leading to a qualification. This is because our insurance requires us to know and have approved any skippers on our boats.

Lost or damaged items

 

If a member loses or damages a piece of the boat?s equipment then they are liable for the replacement or repair of this item. Costs will vary according to item and will be sourced by myboatshare.com.
