The reassurance of knowing that you are following a structured syllabus and taking a recognised RYA qualification is one of the best ways to have confidence in your sailing abilities, which is the key to enjoying spending time on the water.

myBoatshare.com have partnered with experienced RYA Yachtmaster instructors to be able to offer members custom tailored training packages. These can range from acquiring your Day Skipper Certificate in a friendly family environment, to on water refresher days if you have not sailed for a while; through to adding something like Radar to your skills portfolio before you make that first cross channel trip.

Usually the practical training time is spent on the water in a myBoatshare.com boat. This means that you will not only have fun learning, but spend time on one of the boats you may well be skippering.

Quite often the instructor will join you during your booked time on the water. This means that the costs are a lot less and the time more personal to you than joining a sailing school programme.
